For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat...
Hearts For Heaven was incorporated in 1992 in the United States as a non-profit health care outreach to Guatemala and all of Central America, with the sole purpose of sharing the love of Jesus with the hurting, the hungry, and the lost. We believe that God is still pouring out His amazing grace whereby the blind see, the lame walk, and the captive are set free.

    New Feeding Program: La Mercedes

LA MERCEDES feeding program launched March 2014! What began as a vision in a poor Guatemala pastor’s heart to give a nutritious drink to the many impoverished children of the area is now a fully operational feeding center. Children come from miles, often by foot, to enjoy a hot meal and some teaching in God’s [...]

    Guatemala Vacation Bible School 2013

School vacations in Guatemala take place in November and December and that’s when we have our Vacation Bible schools. This year, VBS in La Primavera got off to a rocky start and I do mean that literally. On the very first day, with 90 kids in attendance, suddenly from up above, rocks were thrown onto [...]

Morgan Somers: An American Girl’s Experience

August 2013 My last adventure of high school was an adventure to Guatemala. In all honesty, I can’t possibly describe to you every detail as much as I wish I could. I’ve been very blessed with opportunities to travel but this was by far the best trip I’ve ever been on. I can’t pinpoint the [...]

    Construction Continues!

“…to loose the bonds of wickedness…” Isaiah 58:12 In the well known Ch. 58 of Isaiah we get a glimpse of the tragic state of Israel. Here the prophet doesn’t mention idolatry, nor sexual impurity nor even murder. In this chapter Isaiah condemns Israel for their false religion, lack of mercy and compassion, and heavy [...]

Adventures Are More Fun Without the Vomits

Can you believe we’ve been down here 6 months already? In many ways I still feel like we’re settling in, figuring it all out. Yet at the same time, it’s flown by! With the 6 month mark comes the pressure of having to leave the country. When you arrive in Guatemala, they give you a [...]
